
1954 - The vicars of Deeping St. James and Market Deeping formed Deeping Men’s Group to promote social meetings.
The focus of the Group gradually developed into raising funds to purchase medical equipment including wheelchairs for use by the local community.
1997 – With charitable fundraising annual income rising, The Group became a registered charity (Registration number 1111361)
2005 - The Group became a Limited Company (Registration number 5516478)
2006 – The Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service presented by the Lord Lieutenant of Lincolnshire, together with two members and their wives attended the Royal Garden Party at Buckingham Palace.
2007 – Two other members attended a Royal reception at Buckingham Palace and were presented to The Queen and members of the Royal family.
2009 – The Group received a Making a Difference award from Deeping St James parish council.
